The
Jobs for Students program, founded in 1993, is
a local youth project created for students in the state of
Maryland. It's main objective
find
full or part-time employment.
Over the years we have found that the experience
of working and earning a paycheck
can change the lives of many young adults, and often is a
major factor in determining their future success.
Our
programs and services
are free to all area students and recent graduates, however,
J.F.S. is not a charity, handout or a fund-raiser. It is
just what it says: Jobs for students.
All of the students
are required to do the majority of the legwork in the
process of finding a job. For this reason we accept no state
or government funding and
rely 100% on
product
sales to generate the
funds needed to maintain the programs.
J.
F. S.
has helped thousands of young adults achieve
their goals with our free programs
and services, and as we
expand the program throughout Maryland this year, we hope to
help thousands more. Keep an eye out for new J.F.S. projects
coming soon, and as always, we are open to suggestions
and work offers of any
kind. We are a young and growing company, and with a little
help from the local community we should have a very bright
future indeed. We truly appreciate your help and support!
