If you live in, or are visiting the Maryland area, you have got to have a Bargain Book! Each book contains about 300 local merchants and is broken  down into 4 categories (restaurants & food, entertainment, local stores & services, and automotive). The merchants offer "buy 1 get 1 free", "Buy 1 get 1 1/2 off" or big discount coupons on their products or services. There are even about 30 "Totally Free Items" included in each book this year! (Free Oil Changes for your car, Free Bowling, Free Drycleaning, etc.)
We currently publish seven different localized editions for counties in the greater Baltimore & Annapolis areas. We are also working on new editions for the remaining counties in Maryland, and several new books should be available by the end of year. Bargain Books have been printed, sold and hand delivered by local students in the Jobs for Students program since 1993. All of our Free student programs are funded by the sales and profits of the books. So, every time you buy a book you get save hundreds of dollars on all of your purchases, plus you're helping out a great organization at the same time!
