Bargain Books are local Maryland coupon / advertising books that are printed and sold through the Jobs for Students program. We started publishing them in 1993 and currently have seven localized editions: (Northern Anne Arundel County, Southern Anne Arundel County, NW Baltimore County, Howard County, NE Baltimore County, SW Baltimore County and SE Baltimore County). We're also working on new editions for the remaining counties in the State of Maryland, and should have the new editions out by the end of the year.
The books are printed, published, sold and hand delivered through the Jobs for Students program. Approximately 7,000 books will be hand delivered in your local neighborhoods over the course of a year. Each book contains about 300 local merchants and is broken down into 4 categories (restaurants & food, entertainment, automotive, and local stores & services). Most merchants offer "buy 1 get 1 free" or "Buy 1 get 1 1/2 off" coupons on their products or services.
The response has been fantastic for advertisers. The books are sold to families supporting the Jobs for Students program, so you automatically attract a high quality customer that has proven disposable income.
